I uninstalled all previous versions of the game, and re-downloaded and installed the 'fixed' version of the game. The cursor still only moves from upper left to lower right corners. This problem with the cursor occurs after the game has loaded, on the title page. There is no way to select 'Play', 'Options', or even Exit, as the cursor path won't deviate from its diagonal course. Again I had to Control-Alt-Delete to close the game.
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium, Intel Dual processor, all drivers are up-to-date.
Hope you get a fix for this game soon, and I hope you will send out a confirmation email that this problem has been fixed so those of us who are having problems will be able to test this game. It looks interesting, at least, what I saw of it!
We apologize about any inconvenience you had with game. We have fixed the problem with the mouse and send you a notification letter. Please check your email and download the updated version of the game. Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for the beta test. The graphics were very good. I think my only
complaint is that it felt too static in comparison to 'Golden Trails.'
The latter seemed more interactive that it kept me more engaged.
Overall, I think 'Golden Trails' and 'Romance of Rome' had more
personality. Even though my judgment of 'Letters from Nowhere' is
strictly based on the demo. The location map wasn't as interesting or as
vivid as the other two. Maybe it's the subject. It's just hard for me to tell where this one is going in comparison to the others. I'm just writing this here because I missed the survey. I'm in a different time zone and I guess it ended on Eastern Standard Time. Again, thanks for the beta test. Looking forward to the finished version.
