So that would make them 8 hours later than my time, which is now CDT in the USA. When I tried to submit, it would have been about 6:00 p.m. their time on the 28th!
They must go to bed early....
Thanks Tar for the -1
Take care all, Suki
I'm in time zone next to the one with Belarus (I even live in neighbouring country), and it was 3 pm when I was submiting, making 4 pm for them. Maybe by 'by 28th', Awem ment that latest one must be submitted in 27th.
I believe that on one of the other Beta Tests some complained that they couldn't submit on the date, and Awem explained that the survey had to be in before the date given, that BY a certain date does not mean ON a certain date.
Thanks for that info., sukibabe. I'm E.S.T. (Eastern Standard Time, for those that don't know what EST means). Like you, I tried it twice and got the same message both times, 'poll not active' but I see where someone explained what Awem meant or copied what Awem had said. lol Don't remember now. lol
Take care and for those that celebrate it, 'Happy 4th of July'~
I found out for my great plesure that the graphics of gradle of egypt was simple and beautiful, like in gradle of rome 1 and heroes of hellas 1. The dificultylevel however was disapointing. I think that same level as gradle of rome 2 would have been better. I will not buy this game but I have not lost my faith of awem`s talent of making games.
I experienced several problems with graphics - the screen would go black, sometimes with sound, sometimes without.
I got a notification to change the screen resoulution, tried that but the problem persisted, I got multi-coloured stripes on my screen and everything froze so I had to reboot. I tried changing the resolution, also started in compatibility mode and as administrator, but after 5 times of forced rebooting I just gave up on it.
Graphic drivers are updated, same is DirectX and everything else that is usually recommended as fixes. This same thing happened in Cradle of Rome 2 - but after they issued an update to that game I had no problems. So Awem, could you please incorporate those same fixes to this game too?
I really loved it otherwise, the mini-games were more varied than in CoR2, and the choice of timed or untimed is great! Smooth play, beautiful tiles, the usual powerups and obstacles.
I am waiting for the full release, hoping I can play without graphics problems.
Not sure if this is where I should submit beta comments, but here I go. On my Windows Vista system the game didn't have sound - only a few games on that system have that unsolved problem. On my Windows XP system everything was fine. I personally would like an option to turn off 'best times' as they make me feel like a slow player :) I liked the game play in every way and I also think the game seems ready for release - thank you and I am sure it will be a very fun game to play.
I really enjoyed the beta. It was too late to do a proper review so I'm adding a few comments here. Beautiful graphics and smooth gameplay. I enjoyed the mini games - they were more varied and challenging than COR2. I agree with other comments that the game feels ready for release. Looking forward to it.
Is there any release date for this great game??? I love it since its not timed game but you could put the option at the very start of the game for it to be untimed or timed game. With trophies giving to both options.
I think the only hint we are going to get when this comes out is when we see the pop up to get it cheaper before it comes out. The last Letters from Nowhere and the Golden Trails games where like that.
